Records and Top Times
Team Records: The Swim Team has maintained team records since its inception. The records are updated any time a Highland Lakes swimmer breaks a team record while competing in an LSC sanctioned meet (dual meets, invitationals, and championships). Record breakers receive a special plaque to commemorate their accomplishment during the team's end of season awards dinner, as well as a place on the team's record board.
The Top Times Report is published annually at the end of season awards dinner and represents the best times swam by each individual swimmer that competed in a given event throughout the season.
The 'All Time' Top 10 Report is an on-going Top 10 ranking of individual event swims since 1994. Our team has maintained an electronic database of all individual's results since we began using the Team Manager software in the early 1990's. So no, this report is not a true "all time" report, but represents the best we can do for the last 2-3 generations of Highland Lakes Swim Team athletes. In some cases, therefore, the top time on this report may not be the team record, if the record was set prior to 1994. This report is simply for fun, and is updated/published at the end of each season and made available for review at the end of season awards dinner.
